Associate Consultant (Technical Advisory Services & Digital Transformation)

The Position

Steadman Global seeks to hire the services of a well-qualified and experienced Associate Consultant (Technical Advisory Services & Digital Transformation to support the successful design, delivery, and management of consulting assignments across multiple sectors

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Support in developing winning prequalification’s, expressions of interest, and project proposals within your relevant team.
  • Support the design and implementation of digital transformation projects, including ICT strategy development, ecosystem assessments, and digital roadmaps.
  • Support project design, planning, implementation, and reporting activities under the guidance of the Lead Consultant or Engagement Manager.
  • Draft high-quality reports, concept notes, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs and aligned with Steadman’s quality standards.
    • Under a project manager’s guidance, participate in project-related Research, Analysis and Reporting, perform qualitative and quantitative analytics—disaggregating the central question and building an approach, gathering data (through desk research, surveys, interviews, etc.), and aggregating and synthesizing it into recommendations for our clients based on Steadman’s approved Methodology and approaches.
    • Conduct desk research, stakeholder interviews, data analysis, and benchmarking studies on digital infrastructure, policies, and services.
    • Assist in developing client deliverables such as diagnostic reports, policy briefs, presentations, digital tools, and implementation plans.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to map digital solutions, platforms, and tools suited to specific development challenges.
    • Participate in fieldwork, stakeholder consultations, and co-design sessions with clients, end-users, and partners.
    • Provide technical input into feasibility studies, institutional assessments, and capacity development plans.
  • Provide administrative and logistical Support by coordinating project logistics, timelines, and deliverables; ensure compliance with internal and client-facing processes.
  • Support client meetings and workshops by preparing relevant content sections, presenting selected content, and helping with logistics. Assist in organizing and participating in client meetings, stakeholder workshops, and field missions; document outcomes and follow-ups.
  • Demonstrate ownership in your work, including attention to detail, the quality of the deliverable, and its contribution to the larger project.
  • Contribute to growing Steadman’s knowledge and expertise by staying current on global development trends, especially project work topics.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelors degree in 
  • ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Policy, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred or in progress).
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital transformation, ICT consulting, research, or a related role in development or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with digital tools, platforms, and frameworks relevant to public service delivery and institutional reform.
  • Experience supporting donor-funded projects or working with government, NGOs, or international development organizations is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and digital collaboration tools; familiarity with basic data visualization or GIS tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
