Sales Manager
The Position
The role will be responsible for leading and driving the sales function for Securex in Uganda, ensuring the effective execution of commercial strategies that support regional expansion, new business acquisition, and sustainable revenue growth
Your key responsibilities are:
- Design and execute commercial strategies in alignment with Securex’s overall goals and objectives, with a focus on accelerating growth within the Ugandan market.
- Identify and define key target markets; design and implement tailored business development strategies for various segment.
- Lead and manage Securex’s regional expansion strategy in Uganda, identifying market entry opportunities and overseeing scalable operations.
- Actively participate in networking events and trade exhibitions to generate leads, build brand visibility, and promote Securex services.
- Gain in-depth understanding of client needs and market dynamics to customize solutions and improve client penetration.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, maintaining high service standards and gathering customer feedback.
- Ensure local strategies are aligned with market conditions, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations to maximize profitability.
- Set up and streamline operational processes to support business growth and ensure service excellence.
- Monitor team performance and drive efficiency across the sales process to consistently meet and exceed targets
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate threats.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Design and implement customer acquisition plans that expand the client base and grow revenue.
- Negotiate and manage high-value contracts and strategic partnerships to ensure win-win outcomes.
- Monitor and manage sales budgets, ensuring cost-effective and profitable operations.
- Monitor and control sales budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability of the sales function.
- Drive digital adoption across the sales function by leveraging CRM tools, data analytics, and sales automation platforms to improve efficiency and visibility.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies and successful project delivery.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, with insights, forecasts, and recommendations for improvement.
- Champion a client-centric culture by embedding customer feedback loops and ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Over 7 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, preferably in the security services, telecommunications, or B2B services sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the Ugandan market, local business practices and emerging trends.
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth in emerging market

Quality Health and Safety Responsibilities
- Leadership & Support: Provide leadership within your department by leading and supporting your departmental staff in conforming to Securex OH&S management system requirements.
- Improvement: Promptly action any health and safety issue/concern escalated to you by those under your supervision (for closure).
- Risk Assessment: Take responsibility in the implementation of operational controls for hazards/risks arising from departmental activities and programs.
- Management of Change: Undertake reviews with the QHSE department before introducing or changing departmental processes/ activities /products/services, in order to identify any safety or health hazards/risks that may result from the change.
- Management Review: Take part in scheduled periodic Management Reviews on the effectiveness of Securex’s OH&S management system.
